Circles!

Circles are a great way to learn more about the Christian Women's Ministries. Women church members and friends of Northwest Christian Church meet once a month in groups referred to as circles for fellowship, food, enriching programs, service projects, laughter, discussions, support and fun!. Choose a circle that best fits your schedule. All groups look forward to more new members.

Theme for 2005-2006: "Searching for God's Direction"

Abigail Circle: 4th Monday, at 7:30 p.m. (September - November; January - May)
Meetings occur in homes and at the church; call the church office for the location. Programs include service projects, guest speakers, and available resources chosen by a group member.

Service projects include:preparing and serving a Faith Mission Center meal (to the homeless); wrapping audio tapes and children's books (tapes with messages from family members in prison) to present to their children as gifts; and preparing and serving monthly meals to our young adult choral group on their practice night. Esther Circle: 3rd Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. (February - December)
This group starts with a prayer and a dessert before a meeting of lively, fun lessons and discussions from either members of the group or occasional guest speakers.

Ruth Circle: 2nd Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Book studies are often part of the meeting. Also, there is time for service projects and fellowship.

Anticipated Yearly Calendar of Events - Check the website Activity Calendar (monthly) and/or call the church office for possible changes in day of the month/times and to find out the location of the meeting(s) that interest you. Also, see the church bulletin board in the Sunday School area hallway for meeting topics, details, and locations.

Beth Moore Bible Studies (Even if you missed some sessions, come!)
CWM Council approved the purchase of our second Bible study by Beth Moore. "Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith" is a 10-week ladies Bible study offered each Tuesday at 9:30 am, Sept. 20-Nov. 22, 2005.

The previous Beth Moore Bible Study, "Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit," will be offered a second time Sundays, Sept. 18-Nov. 27, 3:30-5:30 pm.
