When your nation is hungry, there you will find a Disciple of Christ with a hot meal, giving comfort and prayer. When your town is ravaged by flood, there your will find a Disciple of Christ with a blanket, giving comfort and prayer. When your streets are filled with drugs and crime, there you will find a Disciple of Christ rendering aid to the helpless, giving comfort and prayer. When a child cries, there you will find a Disciple of Christ wiping away the tear, giving comfort and prayer. I guess we can be best summed up as a Denomination that believes strongly in giving comfort and prayer.

So, if you are looking for a church that believes in giving comfort through Jesus Christ, and relies on the power of prayer to heal this world, then you have found us."
