Faith Mission Sunday Evening Dinner Project 2008
In teams, we will prepare and serve six meals for homeless women. Our Northwest Christian Church coordinators of the Super Shopper, Cooking Crew, and Dining Room Crew are Roger & Lynn Rees.
 
Our contact person at Faith Mission is Jullian Simmons at 224-6617, extension 171.
 
Letters are sent to volunteers listing their work assignments, addresses and telephone numbers. This allows volunteers to keep in touch with one another in case there are transportation needs or if it is necessary to coordinate work tasks.
 
The Super Shopper purchases the ingredients for the dinner and places the items in the church kitchen refrigerator before the cooking crew arrives. The Super Shopper does not cook any of the food.
 
The Cooking Crew prepares food in the church kitchen during the afternoon on the Sunday of the scheduled meal.
 
The Faith Mission Dining Room Food Serving Crew meets in the west parking lot of our church at 4:45pm and transports the food to Faith Mission at 151 6th Street by 5:15pm. The Dining Room crew starts serving homeless women by 5:30pm, then leaves by 7:00pm
