C'Est La Vie Project 2005-2006
Life goes on and lives are connected! Hurricane
Katrina birthed this mosaic project. Grace Disciples
of Christ church serves as one mission station
for our denomination in the recovery of the Gulf
Coast after the storm. While gutting houses to
prepare them for resurrection, pieces of tile,
broken dishes, what-nots and mirrors were collected.
Each work of art contains treasures from one person's
home as well as treasures from others. Remember
- we are all connected through kindness, love
and compassion. With each interaction we were
changed. We become a more loving community of
friends and family. Because of this, LIFE GOES
ON with greater love and hope. Special thanks
to family, friends LSUHSC OT students, and volunteers
for making this possible! |
