We strive to make our services
neither "contemporary" nor "traditional," but
instead a pleasing and inspiring blend of both.
The music for the day may include a Chancel
Choir anthem, a stirring solo number, music
by one of our Bell Choirs, a song by our Youth
Choir, a children's musical offering, singing
a praise song or two with our Joyful Noise contemporary
choir, or a dazzling number from our Young Adult
Musicians group, Psoulstice. There may be music
from piano, organ and/or keyboard or music accompanied
by violin, clarinet, saxophone, flute, or guitar.
A children's message is presented each Sunday
during the 11:00 AM service, after which the
children may leave to attend Extended Session
class.
Sermons by our pastors seek to make scriptural
teaching relevant to our daily life.
The Lord's Supper is served every Sunday to
all who are believers in Christ regardless of
denominational affiliation.
The mission of this congregation shall be to
lead people to the faith in Jesus Christ, to
encourage their active commitment to His service,
and to facilitate their growth in grace and
in the knowledge of Christ. Further, it shall
be our mission to work for the unity of all
Christians and to participate in the common
task of building the Kingdom of God.
