. . . more than a class or an afternoon
group. It's an experience that will probably change
your life. The quality of people and quantity of love
experienced is just overwhelming, and with the caliber
of life in CYF, no-one can turn away the love of God.
(John)
. . . going forth in a journey of faith
and trust with brothers and sisters, moving toward a
common goal of a deeper relationship with the Divine.
(Anonymous)
. . . God shown through loving relationships
and people who really care. (K.T.)
. . . a place you can go, where nobody judges you for
the clothes you wear, or who your parents are, it's
a place where I can be myself. I have made friendships
in youth group that I know will last forever. Without
youth group many of my greatest expericences in life
would not be possible. The three mission trips I have
been on with the youth group are some of the greatest
times in my entire life. To me youth group means great
friends, fun, and a close relationship with God. (Scott)
. . . at Northwest Christian Church (NWCC) is like my
family; I feel like I have 30 brothers and sisters (in
CYF). When life is rough and I feel helpless I know
I can call on any one of them and they'll be there for
me. When I think about the best times of my life I find
myself thinking about times that I have spent with them.
Ten days of mission in different states, preaching God's
word in our musicals, talking about anything all night
long at our lock ins, or just playing cards after church.
To me the youth group means fellowship, friendship and
fun! (Alicia)
