Walk. Give. Change the World

Join us for the 39th Columbus CROP Hunger Walk! Walkers and Sponsors are Needed! You can register for the walk at: www.crophungerwalk.org/columbusoh and join our team at www.crophungerwalk.org/columbusoh/nwcc. The youth will provide a sandwich lunch after church, and we will gather at the Scioto Audubon

Metro Park (400 W. Whittier) to walk together. (Distance options from 0.75 miles to 5K!) Registration for the walk starts at 12:00pm. Be sure to join us this year for our send-off rally at 12:30pm with some special guests. There is a short and long route, so bring the whole family (even the four-legged members)! And new this year is an extension to the route using more of the SciotoGreenway Trail up toward the beautiful and brand new green-space along the Scioto Mile in Downtown Columbus!

Crop Hunger Walks help to provide food and water, as well as resources that empower people to meet their own needs. From seeds and tools, to wells and water systems, to technical training and micro-enterprise loans, the key is people working together to identify their own development priorities, their strengths and their needs; something Church World Service has learned through some 70 years of working in partnership around the world.

Last year the CROP walk raised close to $12 million dollars and NWCC was the 2nd highest giving church in Columbus! With your help this year, we can make it to number 1!

“When you are hungry, you can’t think about anything else.” Please plan on joining us!
