» We have two worship services every Sunday morning.

Our traditional worship service is at 10:30 AM and our early service is at 8:00.

» The dress code at our church is about comfort.

You’re here to worship the Lord. A suit & tie is just as acceptable as a t-shirt & jeans.

» Parents with young children, we offer a soundproof and staffed nursery during our services

The cry room is located at the back of the sanctuary near the East Entrance.

» Older children may wish to participate in our Children or Youth Ministry programs on Sunday morning.

We  offer timely, relevant and educational Bible lessons to children of all ages.  We also have group activities for the youth, and a strong leadership development program

» Communion

Communion is the sharing of “wine” and bread among followers of Christ, as He taught.  In Disciples churches, communion is weekly and is offered to all His followers.  We most typically provide the “wine” in small cups and parcels of bread in trays that are passed around the congregation:  these may be held to be consumed after prayer and contemplation, or consumed as passed.

About Northwest Christian Church

Northwest Christian Church is located in Upper Arlington, OH and is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.  Our denomination began as a religious movement born on the American frontier in the early 1800’s to witness to the necessity of Christian unity on a scriptural basis.

We have many large and small churches scattered throughout the United States and Canada, with a membership of over a half million. Each congregation is self-governing and cooperates with regional and national service and support functions of the denomination.  The Disciples of Christ work with other churches in the community and nation for the effective witness of the gospel of Christ throughout the world.
