CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR YOUTH

Believing that Christian faith is a life-long journey, we provide strong Christian Education programs for children, youth, and adults.

At Northwest Christian Church, we believe that children are a gift from the Lord.  Our church is a welcoming and encouraging place for all – a sanctuary and safe place for spiritual growth and development.

Sunday Morning Youth Programs

8:30am – Youth Choir for grades 6 – 12 (September – May)

Join Pastor Cindy for youth choir each Sunday.  The NWCC youth choir sings in the worship service several times throughout the year, performs in their annual, fully-staged youth musical, and shares their music on mission trips.

9:15am – Chi Rho (grades 6 – 8) Sunday School (room 14)

9:15am – CYF (grades 9 – 12) Sunday School (room 15)

Many Sundays begin with a “breakfast bar” where the youth are treated to some breakfast goodies and a time of fellowship before Sunday school begins.    Middle and high school students are encouraged to discuss a variety of topics throughout the year and explore biblical scriptures to help them determine their own personal beliefs and grow in their spiritual development.

Sunday Afternoon Youth Programs

The middle and high school students at NWCC are blessed to have enthusiastic youth leaders who plan many mission and social activities throughout the year.  From mission projects to pumpkin carving, movies to ice cream parties, there are activities for everyone!

Youth Mission Trips

The middle and high school students participate in a week-long mission trip every other summer.  They have traveled the country from California to Louisiana to Arizona and many places in between!  Whether they are building houses, caring for the homeless, planting gardens, or supporting people in need, they show God’s love and compassion wherever they go!
