Meet Our Pastors and Staff
The Rev. Cynthia Adcock
Cindy has been on the staff of Northwest Christian Church since 1983 and was installed as Co-Pastor in August of 2005. With undergraduate study at The Ohio State University in music education and a Masters of Divinity degree from The Methodist Theological School in Ohio, Cindy blends her musical and theological gifts throughout her ministry. She has developed and leads a strong youth leadership program.
The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Wheeler
Jeff was installed as Co-Pastor of Northwest Christian Church in August of 2006. He holds his Doctor of Ministry degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Jeff has served numerous Disciple Churches, and is a leader in the Disciples ministerial community. He is passionate about small groups and Bible study.
Albert Adcock
Minister of Music
Albert has the role of using music to magnify the worship of God in an inspiring and uplifting way. A skilled musician and organist, Al is known throughout the region for his work with the Organ Guild, for his compositions and for his gifts of music.
Debbie Stephan
Director of Christian Education
Deb adopted Christian Ed as her personal mission 14 years ago. She organizes the annual Christian Ed program and is an integral part of the success of the children and youth programming.
Madison Buty
Child Care Giver
Madison Buty grew up at Northwest Christian Church and participated in all of the programs for children and youth.  As a student at The Ohio State University majoring in Social Work, she is now helping to care for the youngest members of our church family – showing them love and care each week in our nursery.
The Rev.Faith Solon
Pastor of Young Adult Ministries

Faith is the newest addition to the staff of Northwest Christian Church. In the autumn of 2019, Faith was brought onboard as the Pastor of Young Adult Ministries. She has an undergraduate degree in Music from Hiram College as well as a Masters of Divinity degree from Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Faith is passionate about getting young adults engaged in the church community, as well as walking with them in their spiritual journey.

Rebecca Bean
A church relies greatly on its front office, and we have been blessed to have Becky serve the many and complex roles of our church secretary. From being the very pleasant first contact, to being a super organizer, thank you Becky. Becky is an animal lover, with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 kids, and husband Eric in her menagery.
